Protein content plays an important role as it is an essential component of the skin and hair. The hair is made up of 95% protein, of which almost one third is used for skin renewal and hair growth.
Puppies from small breeds have intense requirements, especially in terms of energy, proteins and minerals, for healthy growth over a short period. They also have a delicate digestive system and an immature immune system. VETERINARY HPM® responds to your small breed puppy’s specific needs. This product is also suitable for pregnant/lactating small breed bitches.
Available sizes:
VETERINARY HPM® is a new generation of dog food designed to be closer to the nutritional needs of carnivores. This new and unique range is based on a low carbohydrate-high protein formula. So it is much lower in starch and carbohydrates, and much higher in animal protein. The result is nutrition that is perfectly adapted to your dog’s needs.

By promoting satiety and lean body mass development (including muscle) rather than fat, protein helps dogs and cats maintain a healthy weight. Fibre is also added as well as L-carnitine to help limit fat storage.
A food that is too rich in carbohydrates can be poorly tolerated and cause loose stools and unpleasant odours.
Low carbohydrate levels, highly digestible proteins and the addition of functional ingredients (lactobacilli, bentonite, etc.) help to maintain good digestive tolerance.
Pentasodium triphosphate supplementation limits tartar formation and contributes to good oral health.
By stimulating drinking and optimising urinary pH, protein helps to maintain good urinary health.
A functional ingredient, cynarin, is also added to help with urine concentration.
Reduced phosphorus intake and phosphate binder chitosan helps maintain healthy kidney function.
To reduce the risk of food intolerance or allergy, our food does not contain dairy, egg, wheat, corn, gluten or soy.
High protein content and chondroitin and chitosan supplementation contribute to maintaining a healthy muscula-skeletal system.
A diet rich in protein and low in carbohydrate will help to stabilise blood sugar and insulin levels and ultimately help to improve insulin sensitivity.
The protein content and vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, help maintain a strong immune system.
